Frequently asked questions

Please find below a list of frequently asked questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question here, please contact us.

What happens once I have purchased the course?

Once you have made payment via our web shop you will receive an e-mail detailing how to access your course on the Sage Qualifications E-Learning Portal. Please allow up to 24 hours for access, although this is often immediate, as we allocate the course once your payment has been processed.  Please check your junk folder if you do not receive an email from us and if you have any questions or do not recieve your email just let us know. Access to the course and software is for six months but this can be extended by prior agreement for a small extra fee. (Within a year of initial payment - provided the course and software are valid and supported.)

How are your courses different from other ‘Sage’ courses on the internet?

Sage Qualifications Ltd courses are the only way in which to receive an Official Accredited or Regulated Qualification from Sage UK Ltd and our awarding body partners. They all include Sage UK Certification. The only place you can obtain these qualifications and courses is via the Sage Qualifications E-Learning Portal.

Who are Sage Qualifications Ltd?

Sage Qualifications Ltd is the organisation who developed the partnership with Sage UK Ltd and awarding body partners to create the only Accredited and Regulated Sage UK accredited qualifications available. We operate Sage Qualifications for Sage UK. Our qualifications were created to complement Sage end-user training courses available on the Sage UK website. Sage Qualifications are the next step for those wishing to gain a RQF qualification using Sage and learn the underpinning accounting knowledge of how Sage software is processing information.

Do the courses come with tutor support included?

The courses are designed to take the learner comprehensively through the self-study materials and a tutor should not be required. We do provide email support where a learner has difficulties and will always respond to email queries. We are however aware that some people may want to have specialist tutor support and therefore have tutor support packages available if you want to contact us for more information regarding this. All of our tutors are UK-based and have qualified at a professional level either at or above the level of the course you are studying.

Why can’t I see your courses on the Sage UK website?

Sage UK offers end-user training to customers who wish to quickly and efficiently learn how to use the software or those who are starting out. Sage Qualifications are designed to complement this end-user training by offering next step courses for those who have a basic knowledge of Sage, and wish to formalise this with further in-depth understanding of how the software is working or turn their knowledge into a qualification. This project is operated separately due to the need for learner management and official awarding body certification.

Can I pay monthly for the course in instalments?

Many students who want to pay in instalments take advantage of assistance from their local credit union in order to pay for our courses. If you would like to know more about how your local credit union can assist you, please visit www.findyourcreditunion.co.uk. The Credit Union will assess your request and may then provide you with a loan to pay for the course. You will pay them back in agreed instalments that are suitable for you.
